JUNIOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR 2012

 

 

On the evening of the 9th February 2013 Lewis attended the Buckmore Park Annual Award Dinner in Maidstone, Kent. He was presented his trophy for winning the 'Junior Rookie of the Year 2012' by Adrian Quaife-Hobbs.

 

Lewis had won this title back in November 2012 when he attended the Buckmore Park Star Pupil Day,  an invitation-only event, which was judged by two independent judges who assessed the drivers on their racing skills, endurance, as well as sportsmanship and general conduct.

 

Lewis passed this test, which he had been preparing hard for, with flying colours. He was very proud to be awarded this prestigious title, the huge trophy, a nice prize fund towards future karting events and a goody bag.

 

The gala evening was Lewis' first red carpet event and he certainly caught the bug. He is already looking forward to attending many more of this kind and fill his trophy cabinet with ever more silverware.
